What do you get by volunteering?
At the successful completion of your tenure with SAC as a volunteer, you’ll receive a formal certificate of acknowledgement / Letter of recommendation as per the criteria of the organization.
What subjects do we need to teach ?
As a Teacher at SAC, you will be placed classrooms where you can teach major subjects — like English, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science, according to Maharashtra Board SSC / HSC (as per your choices).
Where are you located ?How many centres do you have in Mumbai ?
We currently operate in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India . We have 4 after-school learning centers and 2 in-school programs currently. And there are located at :
  • Lokhandwala (Andheri)
  • Andheri West near RTO
  • Oshiwara
  • Adarsh Nagar
Can I volunteer on weekends ?
Sure. Teaching programs for older students are open 7 days a week. You can also conduct co-curricular activities like art, craft, yoga, soft-skills etc over weekends. Fill up the form below and we will reach out to you
Who are the beneficiaries you cater to ?

Our beneficiaries are school going children and youth from low-income backgrounds .Our programs benefit students from age 3 to 21 .

Will we be provided any training or other support ?
Regular training sessions are conducted for curriculum delivery and classroom management
  • Educational materials for curriculum delivery is also provided.
How many hours a week are we expected to volunteer ?
You would be required to commit anywhere between 3-6 hours a week depending on the kind of volunteering.
Is there a minimum commitment we need to give ?
To maintain consistency in teaching, we appreciate a minimum commitment of 3 months for teaching opportunities for std. 1 - 7, whereas 6 months for std. 8 - 10th and 10 - 12 th.
