Tata Memorial Centre with over 75 years of exceptional patient care, innovative cancer research and high-quality training is one of the oldest and largest cancer centers in the world. Over time, Tata Hospital, Parel has grown in size and stature and has continued to be at the forefront of national and global cancer control efforts. As people are aware, cancer treatment is very expensive and out of the reach of the common men. This Govt hospital in Mumbai has been providing excellent cancer care to individuals from all strata of society at a very minimum cost and saving precious lives.

Every year, about 64,000 patients visit Tata Memorial Hospital not only from India but also from all over the world. From this, about 60% of the patients receive primary cancer care.
